8. The Graduation Application Requirement

An undergraduate student intending to complete graduation requirements by the end of the Spring semester or Summer term must submit the graduation application via Self-Service no later than September 15th of the preceding year.

A student planning to complete graduation requirements at the end of the Fall semester should submit the Self-Service graduation application no later than February 15th. However, those wishing to participate in the Spring Commencement prior to completion are encouraged to submit their application the preceding fall. See Commencement for more details on "walking" in Commencement prior to degree completion.

A $75 graduation fee will be added to the student account upon application. Applications submitted after the above deadlines will be assessed an additional $50 late application fee.

Please note that the term selected on the graduation application should reflect the term in which all requirements will be fulfilled and not the ceremony in which the student wishes to participate.
