Intramural Sports & Physical Education

In addition to intercollegiate Athletics, Marietta College provides physical education courses and intramural sports for the purpose of giving every student general physical training opportunities under experienced supervision.

The Intramural Program is administered by the Athletics Department. Each participating organization elects a student representative to serve as the liaison with the intramural staff. The schedule for current offerings can be found at Intramural Sports on the Athletics page.

Physical education classes offer each student an opportunity to select one or more activities of interest to satisfy College requirements in addition to fulfilling a desire to improve individual skills and body conditioning. The Dyson Baudo Recreation Center, the Boathouse, and the track at Don Drumm Stadium provide facilities for a variety of physical activities including weight training equipment and a fully equipped fitness room.
