ECON 330 Economics of Healthcare
An examination of the special features of healthcare as a commodity. Topics include the demand for health and medical services, the behavior of medical care providers (i.e., physicians and hospitals), the functioning of the insurance markets, the role of technology and managed care arrangements and the role of government as provider and regulator.
