ENGL 207 Banned Books
What do books do? What (and who) are books for? These questions are critical for thinking about why books have been and continue to be banned, challenged, excised, and questioned. We will analyze a range of texts to explore the questions of what books do, what books are for, and who challenges and bans them—and why—and when.
