GEND 401 Advanced Gender & Sexuality Studies
This course will serve as a capstone experience of the Gender and Sexuality studies program as it examines the breadth and depth of gender and sexuality research. Students will read essays and research in areas of social construction, representation, identity, power/oppression, intersectionality, and the body. Students will conduct their own local experiential education praxis project (20 hours) that will result in a program to promote social change.
Prerequisite
Junior/ Senior level. At least two courses in the Gender Studies curriculum must be completed before taking this course.
