PSYC 360 Experimental Psychology

An in-depth look at the field of Experimental Psychology as a science and way of knowing. This course is also designed to teach many of the concepts needed to understand, conduct, and interpret common experiments in psychology. Students will learn about the variety of procedures and methodologies available for the study of human behavior and cognition. Students will learn and reflect on ethical theories and their application to the aforementioned procedures and methodologies frequently implemented in the field of Experimental Psychology.

Complete PSYC 101, PSYC 285, & PSYC 286; plus COMM 203 or HONR 212 (minimum grade C-); and PIO 201.

PSYC 360 serves as the Junior Core for the Psychology major. It also satisfies the Scientific Inquiry - with Lab general education requirement when combined with PSYC 491.
