SMGT 280 Sport Management
An introduction to sport management. All students will acquire an understanding of the importance of management concepts and principles and their application to the sports industry, become familiar with the technical language associated with the field, and learn when and where to seek and find more information about sport management issues. Issues in human resource management, financial management, and business policy as they affect sport management are also discussed, as well as learning a general structure of sports organizations.
