THEA 481 Theatre Capstone
The student begins the capstone process by designing a project syllabus and learning contract with a member of the Theatre faculty appropriate to the student and the scope and content of the project. The capstone should demonstrate student mastery of skills in one or more areas of theatre. The capstone requires student mastery of skills in one or more areas of theatre, drawing on the overall college experience. Appropriate projects may include-but are not limited to-directing a production; designing set, lights, sound, or costumes for a production; writing an original script; choreographing a musical; researching, preparing and presenting a lecture-presentation on some aspect of theatre; or completing a traditional large-scale research project on some aspect of theatre.

THEA 366 and permission of instructor.

THEA 481 serves as the Capstone for the Theatre (BA and BFA degrees) and Musical Theatre majors. Learning contract required.
