MATH 118 Excursions in Mathematics

For students with little formal in mathematics and no intention of going on in mathematics. Interesting and easily accessible concepts presented in order to give students an appreciation of beauty, breadth, and vitality of mathematics. Topics chosen from modern mathematics (such as topology, abstract algebra, number theory) and they vary from semester to semester.
