MUSC 211 Music Theory III

An examination of the music from the late Renaissance to the Classical periods through the analysis of selected works from each period. This course introduces counterpoint and pursues further study of harmony and form, including binary and ternary forms, fugue, theme and variations, sonata form, and rondo form.
