WRIT 307 Technical Writing
Technical writing emphasizes problem and audience analysis, formatting and documentation, the inclusion of visual and quantitative information, conciseness and clarity, and rhetorical principles associated with writing. Students learn basic formats of technical reports, white papers, feasibility studies, resumes / cover letters. Other formats that might be addressed include process description, instructions, manuals, and oral presentations.
