Commencement

A graduate student intending to complete graduation requirements by the end of the Spring semester or Summer session must submit a completed graduation application to the Records Office by the last day to drop classes for the immediately preceding Fall semester.

A student planning to complete graduation requirements at the end of the Fall semester should submit the graduation application by the last day to drop classes for the immediately preceding Spring semester. However, those wishing to participate in the Spring Commencement prior to completion are encouraged to submit their application the preceding fall.

Approval to participate in a Commencement ceremony prior to completing all degree requirements may be required by the program director. See the applicable program handbook or contact the program director for more information.

The graduation application is submitted online via Self-Service. A $100 graduation fee will be added to the student account upon application. Applications submitted after the above deadlines will be assessed an additional $50 late application fee.

Diplomas will be withheld from any student whose financial obligations to the College have not been satisfied.
