COUN 645 Clinical Counseling Diagnosis
This course serves as the basis of the appropriate use of the current edition of the "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders", and an understanding of the "International Classification of Diseases". The course focuses on conducting mental status examinations, and on the development and recognition of a framework for identifying symptomology, etiology and psychodynamics of mental and emotional disorders.
