COUN 650 Treatment of Mental & Emotional Disorders
Includes the study of developing and implementing a treatment plan, how to report and assess client progress in treatment, and referring clients to other providers. This course examines the timing of treatment planning, and understanding the effects of treatment on the behavior of clients including the effects of common psychotropic medications and other mood altering chemicals used in the treatment of clients with mental and emotional disorders.
