ART 301 Professional Practices in Visual Arts
This course will require students to examine ethical decision making within the visual art field. Assigned
readings, written responses, and peer-led conversations will facilitate student’s preparation for
professional practice. Additionally, the course curriculum will provide insight and instruction on
methods of portfolio development needed for those pursuing a career in graphic design and studio art.
Prerequisite
Junior standing plus completion of COMM-203; minimum grade C-; and PIO-201
Notes
ART 301 serves as the Junior Core for the Art and Graphic Design majors.
