PSYC 375 Health Psychology
Psychological, medical, and physiological research has brought about new ways of thinking about health and illness. Health and illness are now predominantly viewed as the result of several different, but not mutually exclusive, factors such as biological characteristics, behavioral factors and social conditions. This course focuses on understanding how behavioral, biological characteristics, behavioral factors, and social factors integrate to play a role in the onset and treatment of a variety of illness.
