Fifth-Year Institutional Financial Aid

A student enrolling a fifth year at Marietta College (9th and/or 10th semester) and enrolled in at least 12 aid-eligible credits will receive the MC Fifth Year Grant. This grant supersedes any other Marietta College aid the student would have received in their previous four years.

For fifth-year students residing in campus housing, the grant will be equal to 50% of tuition and fees. This on-campus amount is $9,913 per semester. The grant amount for students approved to live off-campus will be equal to 40% of tuition and fees. This off-campus amount is $7,931 per semester.

If a student is enrolled in fewer than 12 aid-eligible credits in the fifth year, the student will not be eligible for the MC Fifth Year Grant.

The 2024-2025 academic year is the final year that the MC Fifth Year Grant will be available. This discontinuation coincides with the initial extension put in place due to COVID.
