CSCI 340 Numerical Analysis

This course explores introductory numerical techniques emphasizing algorithms suitable for computer use. Error analysis and critical comparison of alternative algorithms are emphasized. Series approximations to functions, roots of equations, linear systems of equations, integration, and ordinary differential equations.
