ECON 421 Empirical Research

Students pursue an empirical research project using regression analysis. The process involves choosing a topic, reviewing theoretical and empirical literature on the topic, developing empirical models, collecting data, estimating models, conducting tests of hypotheses, preparing written report, and presenting results in a session open to the general public.
