ENTR 110 Creative Problem-Solving

This course is designed to cultivate and enhance creative thinking and problem-solving (CTPS) abilities. It addresses the need for individuals and teams who can 'think outside the box' and apply fresh perspectives to practical challenges. It delves into the essence of creativity and explores the traits of creative individuals, while identifying and addressing potential barriers to creativity. Students will be introduced to a variety of creative problem-solving techniques and methodologies for re-interpreting problems and generating ideas. This is an experiential course that includes practical demonstrations, exercises, and task simulations that enable students to gain a deeper understanding of these creative tools and the capacity to apply them and to facilitate their use to generate concepts and ideas.
