EDUC 623 Vocabulary & Comprehension
The course will include a survey of principles,, strategies, and practical techniques to help, students engage effectively with texts in, ELA/literacy block and across content areas. An, overview of instructional practices in the, language comprehension strands of Scarborough's, Rope will be provided, with connections to before,, during, and after reading instruction. Students, will learn the significance of building knowledge, through grade level texts and unit-based text, sets.
