MATH 070 Essential Mathematics

This course develops basic quantitative skills, concentrating on problem-solving (through applied word problems involving proportionality and percentages), graphing and solving simple equations, presenting and understanding numerical data, and estimation of size. Designed to prepare students for MATH 113, MATH 118, or MATH 123, Essential Mathematics does not count towards graduation requirements.
