MATH 123 Practical Statistics
This course prepares students to become more knowledgeable consumers of statistics and provides intuitive rather than rigorous discussion of statistical techniques and reasoning. Topics include descriptive statistics, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and the normal distribution. Students cannot receive credit for both
MATH 123 and
MATH 223 nor for
MATH 123 and
MATH 257 without permission of the department.
