MATH 118 Excursions in Mathematics
This course requires little formal mathematics background and is designed for students whose major and secondary concentration require little or no additional mathematics. Interesting and easily accessible concepts provide students with an appreciation for the beauty, breadth, and vitality of mathematics. Topics vary from semester to semester and are chosen from modern mathematics (such as topology, abstract algebra, number theory).
